PhD and Master’s degree from USP and a member of leading institutions, the lawyer strengthens the firm’s presence in strategic Public Law matters
Sao Paulo, May 2025 — SiqueiraCastro, one of the largest and most awarded full-service law firms in Brazil, announces Guilherme Reisdorfer as the new partner and head of the firm’s Regulatory practice in Sao Paulo. With a solid career in the field, Reisdorfer brings nearly two decades of experience. He has a solid academic background, was a professor in postgraduate courses, and is a member of various institutions and committees focused on public procurement, administrative contracts, regulation, and arbitration.
Holding a Master’s and PhD in State Law from USP, Reisdorfer has published articles in legal collections and specialized journals, and is the author of the books “Responsabilidade pré-contratual do Estado” (Pre-contractual Liability of the State), Editora Fórum, “Dialogo Competitivo: o regime da Lei no 14.133/2021 e sua aplicação às licitações de contratos de concessão e parcerias público-privadas” (Competitive Dialogue: the regime under Law 14.133/2021 and its application to concession contracts and public-private partnerships), 2nd edition, Editora Fórum, and “Direito Urbanístico Contratual: dos atos negociais aos contratos de gestão urbana” (Contractual Urban Planning Law: from negotiated acts to urban management contracts), 2nd print, published by Lumen Juris.
He is also listed as an arbitrator by the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of the Commercial Association of Paraná (ARBITAC) and the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Federation of Industries of Paraná (CAM-FIEP). Before joining the firm, he worked as a lawyer and consultant in infrastructure, regulation, and arbitration at a renowned law firm in Brazil.
